A Very Poorly-and Not Strongly-Worded Explanation of Why I am a Feminist

This hit really close to home for me. I aspire to be an engineer once I graduate, and NO ONE should be told to question his or her path in life based on gender or sexuality (I may further touch on this at a later date). This is a prime example of why I say we need feminism.

But there are plenty more examples, which due to my white and cis privilege, I do not have to live with. And I am going to stand up for this inequality until we can all stand as equals, until character matters more than where we stand on the gender spectrum.
